UTI Protect
While Escherichia coli (or E. coli) is a normal bacterium found in every intestinal tract, it can a disruptive effect on overall health if found where it shouldn’t be. In fact, 80-90% of all bladder infections (cystitis) and UTI can be attributed to E. coli entering the urinary tract, a problem that is 50 times more common in women and girls than in men.
E. coli bacteria can also be present in the vagina, and migrate into the urethra and onward to the bladder, which is why many women end up with a bladder infection, especially after intercourse.

UTI Protect contains:
NutriCran-90 Cranberry extract: Contains 90% fruit solids (not just dehydrated cranberry juice) and unique proanthocyanidins, which have been identified as the active component responsible for preventing the adhesion of E.coli to the urinary tract wall.
D-Mannose: A natural sugar that is not metabolized by humans, but instead, “coats” the E. coli so that it cannot bind to our bladder and urinary tract cells to cause infection.
Grape seed extract: An excellent source of oligoproanthocyanidins (OPCs). Its combination with cranberry proanthocyanidins and d-mannose offers a wide spectrum of anti-adhesion molecules to effectively make the bladder and urinary tract walls a slippery slope causing the E. coli to be easily rinsed out with regular urination.
Parsley: Since infrequent urination can increase the risk of UTI (or prolong the elimination of an active UTI), parsley acts to promote frequent urination by its diuretic effect.
Garlic: Traditionally known as a powerful anti-microbial, garlic will help inhibit the growth of E.coli in the urinary tract. |
